Do you need the OSHA 10 hour training card to get on a job-site in Nevada?
OSHA 10 Hour training courses are perfect for getting workers up to
speed on basic health and safety hazards in the workplace. The OSHA 10
hour training courses also provide trainees with an overview of the
workings of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
The
OSHA 10 hour training courses were created by OSHA, who has authorized
certain OSHA Outreach trainers to conduct the 10-hour training class for
a group of workers. The OSHA 10 training courses are presented in a
classroom setting at any site anywhere in the state of Nevada, or individual trainees can take an online OSHA 10 hour training course.
There is an OSHA 10 training course available to be taught for workers in general industry
work environments, such as factories, most manufacturing operations,
service companies, medical and dental fields, and warehouses. There is
also a version of the OSHA 10-hour course for workers employed in construction related jobs, like new construction projects, demo operations, and large scale (major) renovation projects.
When
a student successfully completes an OSHA 10 hour training course, they
will receive an OSHA wallet card for either construction or general
industry. The OSHA wallet cards are accepted in all
50 states, and meet Nevada's mandatory OSHA 10 hour training laws.
